Thirteen chapters of the comic “Monsters of the Midway” have been browsed through. Israel Idonije through his company ATHLITACOMICS, gave super powers to Coach Vic Fangio defense. This unit is the strength of this team that Sunday night allowed only 6 points and 214 total yards to the offense of the Rams, one of the most explosive in the league and which this time failed to attack the Bears with a passing game.

In the 13th episode ‘Downtown Rampage’ emerged Akiem Hicks (96), who similarly to Hulk, the adrenaline transformed him into a player with superhuman speed and endurance when he chased Jared Goff (16), the wonder boy of the Rams who was stalked constantly because his offensive line could not stop the attacks of the Monsters.

Goff was intercepted by Prince Amukamara (20), Eddie Jackson (39), rookie Roquan Smith (58) and Kyle Fuller (23) who is the commander of this department after having registered his 7th pick of the season.

On a chilly night, the Chicago defense was consolidated as the number one NFL in takeaways. After defeating the Rams 15-6 at Soldier Field ‘Da Bears’ defense records 25 interceptions, 9 recovered fumbles and 5 interception returns for touchdown.

The ferocious Khalil Mack (52), like Venom, was able to freely spread his biomass in tentacles to catch Todd Gurley (30), the same runner who was happy not to play at the Estadio Azteca and who on Sunday felt the rigor of being tackled on a field hardened by captain cold. Gurley was frozen and only ran for 28 yards. As usual Mack developed his arachnid extrasensory skill like Spider-Man’s and sacked once Jared Goff and forced a fumble.

The chemistry of Akiem Hicks and Khalil Mack exploded with that of Leonard Floyd (94), Danny Trevathan (59) and Sherrick McManis (27), being lethal venom for the Rams offense. As the comic showed, it was a long and arduous battle, but finally the monsters fulfilled their mission and now they are ready for a last blitzkrieg against their staunch rival, the Packers.

If the Monsters of the Midway annihilate Aaron Rodgers, they will undertake, like The Avengers, a trip in future time to land in the NFC Championship Game.
